A Letter to Family Members

Dear Family Member,

In our new reality in the ever-changing environment of COVID 19, the CommuniCare family is thankful for your trust in caring for your loved ones. Our number one priority continues to be protecting the health of your loved ones, the caregivers, and our employees. We are doing this in a manner that is supported by clinical best practices, consensus of our country’s leading physicians, and consistent with state and federal regulations. This includes the following:

• We continue to restrict almost all visitations. This not only includes family but vendors as well.
• We continue to monitor all residents every shift.
• We continue to screen our employees, physicians, and NPs every shift.
• We have restricted activities and group dining.

We know this is a difficult time for your loved ones as well as yourself and we want to express our continued compassion for the absence of your ability to see your loved ones. We would like to encourage visitation in alternative ways if possible, including by Skype or Facetime. Please discuss options with our team.

We are ever committed to your loved one as if they are our own. We will get through this together.
